ABOUT US

Adiah A. Oreyomi, J.D.

Adiah is a first generation Houstonian. After graduating with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, Adiah started her law school career at the University of Pittsburg Law School and went on to finish at the University of Houston Law Center. During her time at the University of Houston Law Center, Adiah was an editor for the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy.

After graduating from law school, Adiah went on to work for a professional license defense law firm. There, Adiah worked to defend physicians, teachers, and nurses, among other professions. She came to focus on working with nurses accused of misconduct by the Texas Board of Nursing (TBON). Her work with these nurses helped Adiah realize that she wanted to work exclusively with nurses to protect their license, reputation, and livelihood. For this reason, she went on to open the Nurse Defense Law Firm, PLLC.

When Adiah is not working on a response to the TBON on behalf of a nurse, she is traveling, watching true crime documentaries, and spending time with her family.
